The 1 Train's Night Out at Citi Field

Jasper alums get together to support the 1 Train Collective in the ownership suite at Citifield. American Express Co. Chairman and CEO Steve Squeri (‘81, ‘86, MBA) headlined the speakers along with Steve Levy, a ESPN signature voice, anchor of SportsCenter, and leading play-by-play commentators for college football, NFL, NHL and the XFL”.

A great discussion on the current environment of college athletics, and more specifically, Manhattan University’s men’s basketball team prospects in the upcoming year highlighted a fun and entertaining evening. Men’s basketball coach John Gallagher gave an exciting update on the team to end the festivities.

Brendan O’Brien, one of the members of the 1 Train Collective said, “It was a great night and a lot of fun for everyone who attended. Steve Squeri gave a fantastic and informative update on the University and athletics overall, while Steve Levy gave us all great perspective on the state of NIL and its ability to help Manhattan University’s men’s basketball team in the near future. We look forward to hosting more events in the future that bring alumni together to help the 1 Train Collective support Manhattan University’s athletic teams.
